i’ve always been more inclined toward cartoons than other. even when i was getting a bit “too old” for cartoons i still preferred them — it’s the reason i never watched saved by the bell, or earlier still, zoobilee zoo. even mr. rogers gave me the creeps. who is this guy and why does he keep changing his clothes in front of me? at the time (childhood) i had a real problem with grownups pretending to identify with children — even at 1 - 2 yrs or so i didn’t like it if an adult made a face at me that they wouldn’t make at another adult; but more than that, i just really like drawings more than anything. i know lots of people who have a hard time looking at and paying attention to cartoons even if they’re “adult”, so i think it’s a neurological issue of some kind.
